The creator of the New Hampshire News blog choose one of my pictures as this weeks Photo of the Week.

Here’s the original of the Blow-Me-Down Covered Bridge, Brook and Falls. Easily the best named bridge ever.

I’m having way too much fun with Yes We Camera for the iPhone…

The owner of the horses next to this bridge was kind enough to let me on her property to get this shot today. I’m very thankful because the trip would have been a bust otherwise.

I was killing a little time before “the big game” today, so I tried out a program a local photographer recommended for high dynamic range (HDR) images called Photomatix. Unfortunately I’ve been pretty harsh over the years in deleting all the “bad” exposures. Now that’s coming back to bite me, as those “bad” exposures could help make some nice HDR images. Anyway, I ran across a couple shots of this bridge which I’d saved but would never display because the lighting was so bad and decided to see what could be done. In the end I decided to push this one pretty far and the result is this posterized-style image.
